Shirley joins Wood IP after nearly 30 years as a distinguished educator. She is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the firm.

During her years of service as an educator, Shirley planned and organized numerous student mentoring programs and was repeatedly recognized by the Cumberland County NC school system for her leadership in consistently achieving among the highest student performance metrics in the County.  Shirley also served as Family Career and Community Leaders of America Advisor, and Cheerleading and Step team coach. Shirley brings nearly 25 years of organizational experience from pageantry, where she planned, coordinated, and judged pageants involving hundreds of contestants, sponsors, volunteers, and co-workers.
